David Eggers Kzin with Variable Sword

On the back is written "Ring World / Kzin with Variable Sword / by David Eggers / 1979 ©". I do not know if it was published, or if this is the well known "Dave Eggers". Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Barclay Shaw The Folk of the Air

Not sure if this is a preliminary or an alternate version of the cover of the the first paperback edition of The Folk of the Air by Peter S. Beagle, published by Del Rey. The foreground elements are nearly identical (albeit un-colored), but the background is very different.

Armin Shimerman is the actor who played "Quark" on Deep Space Nine, and also the school principal on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Jerry decided to use the author as the protagonist on the cover.

Darrell K. Sweet Demons of the Dancing Gods

Preliminary study for the cover of the first edition paperback "Demons of the Dancing Gods" by Jack L. Chalker, 1984 Del Rey. Darrell K. Sweet (born 1934 in Highland Park, New Jersey, died 2011) was a professional illustrator best known for providing cover art for science fiction and fantasy novels, in which position he has repeatedly been nominated for and won Locus, Balrog & Hugo awards. He also produces art for trading cards and calendars. He is famous for providing the covers of the the fantasy epic saga The Wheel of Time as well as being one of the great Tolkien calendar artists. As of 2005, he had produced over 3000 paintings.

Unknown The Wallet of Kai Lung

Original preliminary cover art for "The Wallet of Kai Lung" by Ernest Bramah, published in 1900 by Grant Richards, London. Original sketch (pen-and-ink?) with yellow paint. The picture has the initials "BD" in the lower-right corner. Handwritten in pencil outside of the picture is "Sketch for Cover Design D. Duncan." I'd appreciate any info about this. (Vertical line near the right edge caused by composite scan.)
